Fruit salad

This is a very easy and yummy fruit salad for kids and adults as well. You can use any fruit you or kids like.

Fruits for the salad in the picture:

  • 1 ripe pineapple*
  • 2 kiwis
  • 1-2 Oranges or tangerines
  • 1 banana
  • 1 pear
  • 2 apples
  • 1/4 cup  pomegranate seeds

Cut the pineapple in half the long way and scoop out the pineapple flesh with spoon.  Cut it (pineapple flesh) into cubes. Cut the rest of the fruits into cubes and put them into "pineapple bowl. Simple but original fruit salad is ready!

* How to tell if a Pineapple is ripe?
1. Look at the pineapple. It should reflect a golden yellow color
2. Smell the pineapple. If it smells sweet, then it's ready. If it has no scent, it's not ripe.
3. Touch the pineapple gently. It should be firm to a gentle press and only yield slightly. If it's soft or spongy, don't buy it.
